# Configuring the Fibr Script for your Shopify Store

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/75I_8k6QkA8>" %}

If your store runs on Shopify, you can connect it to Fibr using our dedicated app. No code editing required. The whole process takes about five minutes.

***

#### **Before You Begin**

Make sure you have:

* Admin access to your Shopify store
* Your Fibr account credentials
* Your Shopify store URL (e.g., `yourstore.myshopify.com` or your custom domain)

***

#### **Step-by-Step Installation**

**Step 1: Open Fibr Setup**

Log in to your [Fibr Dashboard](https://app.getfibr.co) and go to **Settings → Setup** from the left-hand menu.

**Step 2: Select Shopify**

In the "Add Fibr to Your Website" section, choose **Shopify** as your platform.

**Step 3: Enter Your Store URL**

Paste your Shopify store URL into the field provided, then click **Install Shopify App**.

**Step 4: Authorize the App in Shopify**

You'll be redirected to your Shopify Admin Dashboard. Review the permissions requested by the Fibr AI app, then click **Install** to authorize.

> **What permissions does Fibr need?** Fibr requests access to read your store data and inject the optimization script. It does not access customer payment information or modify your products.

**Step 5: Connect Your Store**

After installation, you'll be redirected back to the Fibr Dashboard. Click **Connect** to link your Shopify store with your Fibr account.

**Step 6: Save in Shopify**

You'll be taken back to Shopify Admin. The Fibr AI app should now appear as installed. Click **Save** in the top-right corner to confirm the setup.

**Step 7: Add Your Domain**

Return to the Fibr Dashboard and scroll to the "Add a Website" section. Enter your store's domain (your custom domain or `.myshopify.com` URL) and click **Add URL**.

**Step 8: Validate the Connection**

Once your website appears in the list:

1. Click **Validate**
2. A new tab will open showing your store
3. Return to the Fibr Dashboard
4. Click **Check Now**

You'll see a confirmation message: "Script is connected."

***

#### **You're All Set**

The Fibr Script is now live on your Shopify store. Every page will automatically include the script, so you're ready to start running experiments and personalization campaigns.

***

#### **Troubleshooting**

* **The app won't install** Make sure you have admin permissions in Shopify. Store staff accounts with limited access may not be able to install apps.
* **Validation fails after installation** Clear your browser cache and try again. Shopify sometimes caches pages, which can delay the script from appearing. If it still fails after a few minutes, try validating in an incognito window.
* **I use a custom domain** Add both your custom domain (e.g., `store.yourbrand.com`) and your default Shopify domain (e.g., `yourstore.myshopify.com`) to your Fibr workspace. This ensures Fibr recognizes traffic regardless of which URL visitors use.
* **I have multiple Shopify stores** You can connect multiple stores to Fibr. Repeat this process for each store, and they'll all appear in your dashboard.
