# Product Change Logs

Stay up to date with the latest improvements, and enhancements to the Fibr.ai platform to make it more intuitive.

{% updates format="full" %}
{% update date="2026-01-19" %}

## Activity Log in Preview Mode

**Problem:** There is a gap between changes made in the Fibr Editor and how pages behave in production, as the editor environment does not fully reflect real website conditions. This makes it difficult to verify changes before publishing, often causing issues to surface only after launch.

**Impact:** Users must rely on support for debugging, risk publishing broken experiences, and face potential revenue loss from tracking failures.

**Update:** We've incorporated a comprehensive real-time preview and activity logging system in the **Preview Mode** that replicates production website behavior, enabling complete pre-launch verification of all changes, experiences, and tracking events.

<figure><img src="/files/KOrWboqnoL6ta7B6CtaJ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
{% endupdate %}

{% update date="2026-01-14" %}

## Change-log Feature in Fibr Editor

**Problem:** Users are encountering conflicts where web changes fail to apply to mobile layouts due to differences in layout structures, element paths, component handling, and styling inconsistencies.

**Impact:** This results in incomplete personalization, post-launch fixes, increased rework, and reduced efficiency, as users lack visibility into these conflicts during editing.

**Update:** We've introduced a change-log feature which highlights the changes(both draft and saved) made by user on a particular variant and detects conflicts in real-time flagging cross-viewport compatibility issues before deployment.

<figure><img src="/files/r911ujCoVqQVcVSS5JHW" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% update date="2025-12-05" %}

## New Ad Integration Flow

**Problem:** Previously, when connecting your Google Ads or Meta Ads accounts to Fibr, all campaigns were automatically synced, regardless of whether they were necessary for Fibr campaigns. This caused unnecessary sync time and clutter in the Fibr Dashboard.

**Impact:** This approach increased the integration and sync time, which impacted the overall efficiency of campaign management.

**Update:** We’ve implemented a new flow for ad integration and sync, giving you full control over which campaigns you want to sync to the Fibr Dashboard.

Now, when you connect your Google Ads or Meta Ads account to Fibr, you can:

* Select which campaigns you want to sync with Fibr from the start.

<figure><img src="/files/Ach2lHYXqkT4jwXu1QrF" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* After connecting your ad account, you can choose whether to sync new campaigns or re-sync existing campaigns to Fibr, ensuring only relevant campaigns are synced.

## Element Selection in Ad Personalization

We’ve redesigned the **Element Selection** experience within the Ad Personalization flow to make it more intuitive and focused.

<figure><img src="/files/Qk26CPWwCWlLDN51O17I" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Now, each personalization type — **Text, Image, Style, and Pop-up** appears in a clear, simplified view, showing the proposed changes for every element individually. This makes it easier to review, confirm, and manage what’s being personalized on your page.
{% endupdate %}

{% update date="2025-10-24" %}

## Dashboard Restructuring

<figure><img src="/files/WDAq6ArGHVlZsZEAtlFv" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The main dashboard and sidebar navigation have been refreshed for a clearer and more streamlined experience.

Product capabilities are now organized under four focused sections: **Experimentation**, **Personalization,** **Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Analytics**.

Key workflows are easier to discover, with related features grouped more intuitively and unnecessary sidebar noise removed.

# What is Fibr?

Fibr is an AI-powered platform that helps you understand, test, and optimize every page on your website without writing code or waiting on developers.

***

#### The Problem Fibr Solves

Your website is the hardest-working asset in your marketing stack, but it's also the least flexible.

Your ad platforms adapt in real-time. Your analytics get smarter every quarter. Your campaigns are hyper-targeted. Yet when someone clicks through, they land on the same static page as everyone else.

That's the gap Fibr closes.

***

#### What You Can Do with Fibr

* **Understand what's happening** See how different audiences, regions, and campaigns perform across your pages. Identify where visitors drop off and why.
* **Test without bottlenecks** Run A/B tests and multivariate experiments without engineering dependencies. Launch in minutes, not sprints.
* **Personalize automatically** Show different content to different visitors based on their ad source, location, behavior, or audience segment.
* **Create new pages instantly** Use Fibr Genesis to generate landing pages from prompts, documents, or reference URLs.
* **Track AI-driven traffic** Monitor how your brand appears in AI assistants and measure traffic from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and others.

***

#### Who Fibr is For

* **Marketing teams** who want to optimize landing pages without filing engineering tickets.
* **Growth teams** who need to run experiments at scale and move fast.
* **Agencies** managing multiple client accounts and campaigns.
* **Enterprise organizations** requiring security, compliance, and team collaboration.

***

#### **How Fibr Is Different**

Most optimization tools wait for you to come up with a hypothesis. Fibr doesn't.

* **It starts with insight, not guesswork:** Fibr continuously analyzes your live performance data and surfaces opportunities you might have missed. Instead of staring at dashboards wondering what to test, you'll get clear, actionable hypotheses like "Try a different CTA for your low-intent traffic segment."
  * Turns raw analytics into prioritized test ideas
  * Detects drop-offs, anomalies, and friction in real time
  * Connects with GA4, your CRM, and ad platforms to explain *why* conversions vary
* **It scales without slowing you down:** Traditional tools let you run a handful of experiments at a time. Fibr is built for velocity. You can personalize and test across hundreds of URLs, campaigns, or audiences simultaneously.
  * No waiting on engineering for deployments
  * Instant rollouts and one-click reversions
  * Learnings automatically shared across teams
* **It's built for where the web is going:** The future of optimization isn't manual. Fibr is designed for an agentic web where experiences are created, adapted, and governed automatically.
  * Auto-generates and deploys experiences based on detected opportunities
  * Keeps every variant compliant with built-in governance
  * Prepares your content for LLM-driven discovery so AI assistants can find and recommend you accurately

<figure><img src="/files/nPNnKqpxVRdoEsILNqtQ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Common Misconceptions <a href="#why-does-fibr-exist" id="why-does-fibr-exist"></a>

1. **"So Fibr is a CRO tool?"** It's more than that. Fibr combines AI agents with human oversight to give you a full-stack experience optimization system, not just A/B testing.
2. **"Is this just for marketers?"** Not at all. Fibr is built for cross-functional teams. Marketing, product, and engineering all get shared visibility and clear controls.
3. **"Will this replace our CMS or analytics?"** No. Fibr layers on top of what you already use. It enhances your stack, it doesn't replace it.

# What products does Fibr offer?

Fibr brings together four core products that work as one intelligent experience layer designed for enterprise scale, security, and collaboration.

Fibr brings together four core products that work as one connected system. Each one solves a specific challenge, but they're designed to share data and insights so your optimization efforts compound over time.

Here's a quick overview:

| Product | What It Does | How It Helps You |
| -------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Hypothesis & Experimentation** | Analyzes your pages to surface test ideas, then lets you run experiments at scale | Stop guessing what to test. Validate ideas fast without waiting on engineering. |
| **Personalization Suite** | Adapts your pages in real-time based on ads, audience, or location | Show every visitor content that matches their intent, automatically. |
| **Insights & GEO** | Centralizes performance data across pages, segments, and AI platforms | See what's working, where, and why, all in one place. |
| **Fibr Genesis** *(Beta)* | Generates landing pages from a prompt, document, or reference URL | Build new pages from scratch without touching code or waiting on developers. |

***

#### **Hypothesis & Experimentation**

Most teams struggle with two things: figuring out *what* to test, and actually running tests without engineering bottlenecks. This module solves both.

**How it works:**

Fibr analyzes your landing pages and performance data to uncover patterns you might miss. Instead of starting with a blank slate, you get prioritized hypotheses like "Your CTA isn't resonating with mobile visitors" or "This hero image underperforms for paid traffic."

Once you have a hypothesis, you can launch A/B or multivariate tests directly. Everything runs in real-time with instant rollbacks if something goes wrong. And the results feed back into the system automatically, so each test makes the next one smarter.

**What you get:**

* Data-driven test ideas based on actual performance, not hunches
* No engineering dependencies for launching or managing experiments
* Real-time deployment with safe rollback controls
* A continuous learning loop that connects testing to personalization

**\[**[**Learn more about Experimentation →**](#hypothesis-and-experimentation)**]**

***

#### **Personalization Suite**

Generic pages convert poorly. Your visitors arrive from different ads, different locations, and different mindsets. They should see content that reflects that.

**How it works:**

Fibr's Personalization Suite adapts your landing pages dynamically based on context. When someone clicks an ad, they see messaging that matches what brought them there. When someone visits from a specific region, they see locally relevant content. No manual variants, no code changes.

**Personalization types:**

* **Ad Personalization:** Automatically aligns your landing page with the ad creative, headline, or campaign the visitor clicked. The experience feels seamless because it *is* seamless.
* **Location Personalization:** Adjusts content based on where your visitor is. Show local testimonials, regional offers, or geo-specific messaging without managing dozens of page versions.
* **LLM Personalization:** Personalizes web experiences for high intent traffic coming from LLM Platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.
* **Audience Personalization:** Personalizes web experiences for any segment, whether it's new visitors from specific locations, mobile users, returning customers, or any combination you can imagine.
* **CDP Personalization:** Connects with your Customer Data Platform to personalize based on behavior, demographics, or lifecycle stage.

[**\[Learn more about Personalization →\]**](/fibr-personalization-suite/overview)

***

#### **Insights & GEO**

You can't optimize what you can't see. This module brings all your experience data into one place, including performance across pages, segments, regions, and even AI platforms.

**How it works:**

Insights centralizes everything: conversions, engagement, drop-offs, and performance variations across audiences and geographies. But it goes further than traditional analytics. It also tracks how your brand appears in AI environments like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, so you can understand visibility in the emerging "agentic" web.

**Key capabilities:**

* **Pulse:** Cross-channel reporting that connects what happens on your site to your acquisition strategy. See how campaigns, sources, and pages perform together.
* **GEO Analytics:** Compare performance by city, country, or segment. Understand where you're winning and where you're leaving conversions on the table.
* **LLM Presence:** See how AI models interpret and surface your brand. Understand your visibility in AI-driven search and discovery.

[**\[Learn more about Fibr Tools →\]**](/fibr-tools/llm-traffic-report)

***

#### **Fibr Genesis&#x20;*****(Beta)***

Sometimes you need a new landing page, and you need it fast. Genesis lets you create fully branded, responsive pages without writing code or filing a ticket with your dev team.

**How it works:**

Give Fibr a starting point: a reference URL, a document, a slide deck, or even a short prompt. Add design inspiration if you have it. Genesis will generate a complete landing page that follows your brand guidelines.

The output comes in two formats: a clean visual mockup (PDF or PNG) for review, and a production-ready HTML/CSS bundle you can deploy immediately.

[**\[Learn more about Fibr Genesis →\]**](#fibr-genesis-beta)

#### How These Products Work Together

Fibr isn't four separate tools. It's one connected system:

1. **Analytics** shows you where performance is lagging
2. **Experimentation** validates what changes work
3. **Personalization** rolls out winning experiences to the right audiences
4. **Genesis** creates new pages when you need them

Each product makes the others more effective. The more you use Fibr, the smarter it gets.

# Inviting Your Team

Easily invite teammates to your Fibr workspace, assign roles like Admin or Member, and collaborate seamlessly across campaigns and experiments.

{% hint style="info" %}
Only team members with '**Admin**' status can invite other teammates to the team. The first person from the organization to sign up becomes "**Admin"** by default.
{% endhint %}

Fibr works best when your whole team can collaborate. Once you've set up your account, you can invite colleagues to join your workspace in just a few steps.

**Who can invite teammates?** Only Admins can send invitations. If you created the workspace, you're automatically an Admin. If you don't see the invite option, ask your workspace Admin to add you or upgrade your role.

***

#### **How to Invite a Teammate**

**Step 1:** Click **Settings** in the left-hand navigation bar.

<figure><img src="/files/7SnvJaTwCm7RSjZ1rDDB" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Step 2:** Select the **Team** section.

<figure><img src="/files/PYU2U5Z7YzMjTuHVEDWb" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Step 3:** Click **Invite Teammate**.

<figure><img src="/files/Y8lQqO4JJSMer7klwKJq" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Step 4:** Enter your teammate's email address and choose their role:

| Role | What They Can Do |
| ---------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Admin** | Full access. Can manage team members, billing, integrations, and all experiments and campaigns. |
| **Member** | Can create and manage experiments and personalizations, but cannot invite teammates or access billing settings. |

<figure><img src="/files/gFssdjYU40ugWtA7xEBn" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Click **Invite** when you're ready.

**Step 5:** Your teammate will receive an email with a unique invitation link. They'll need to click that link to join your workspace.

<figure><img src="/files/Kxaj5LBfcoN9HZ4dC0M5" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

***

#### **Important Details**

* **Teammates must use the invitation link to join.** If someone signs up for Fibr directly without clicking the invite link, they'll create a separate workspace instead of joining yours. Make sure your teammates use the link in their invitation email.
* **Email not arriving?** Ask your teammate to check their spam or junk folder. Invitation emails sometimes get filtered, especially with strict corporate email settings. If it's still missing after a few minutes, you can resend the invitation from the Team settings page.
* **Want to change someone's role later?** You can update a teammate's role anytime from the Team section in Settings. Admins can promote Members to Admin or adjust permissions as your team evolves.

***

#### What's Next?

# Fibr Script

The Fibr Script is what connects your website to Fibr. It's a small code snippet that you add once, and it enables everything Fibr does: experiments, personalization, tracking, and real-time optimization.

Without it, Fibr can't see your visitors or deliver dynamic experiences. With it, your site can adapt to every campaign, audience, and condition automatically.

***

#### **How It Works**

When someone visits your site, the Fibr Script runs instantly and does three things:

1. **Identifies the visitor.** It checks who they are based on your configured rules: which ad they clicked, what audience segment they belong to, whether they're new or returning, their location, and more.
2. **Finds the right experience.** If the visitor matches any of your active experiments or personalization campaigns, Fibr selects the appropriate variant.
3. **Delivers it immediately.** The experience loads client-side during page render. Your visitor sees the personalized version without any flicker, delay, or visible swap.

This all happens in milliseconds. Your site adapts dynamically without requiring any additional deployments or engineering work.

***

#### **Installation Options**

Choose the method that fits your setup:

***

#### **Best Practices for Installation**

* **Place it in the `<head>` tag** The script needs to load early in the page lifecycle to work correctly. Add it inside the `<head>` section of your HTML.
* **Put it above other scripts** Position the Fibr Script at the top of your `<head>`, before analytics tags, tracking pixels, or other third-party scripts. This ensures Fibr initializes first and can deliver the right experience before anything else runs.
* **Avoid script conflicts** If you have multiple scripts that modify page content or load asynchronously, they can interfere with Fibr's timing. Keep your `<head>` clean and test after adding new scripts.
* **Whitelist all your domains** In your Fibr workspace, add every domain and subdomain where the script will run. You can apply it site-wide or restrict it to specific URLs if you want tighter control over where campaigns run.
* **Validate before launching campaigns** Before you create experiments or personalization campaigns, confirm the script is working:
  * Go to **Settings → Setup → Validate** in your Fibr Dashboard
  * Enter your URL and click **Check**
  * You'll see a confirmation if the script is firing correctly

This takes 30 seconds and saves you from troubleshooting later.

***

#### What's Next?

Once the script is installed and validated:

1. [**Connect Google Analytics(GA4)**](/integrations/integrate-google-analytics-ga4) to pull performance data into Fibr
2. [**Link your ad accounts**](/integrations/integrate-google-ads) to enable ad personalization

# Configure Fibr Script to your website

Set up the Fibr script on your website to enable personalization, track user behavior, and run seamless experiments using Fibr AI.

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/jVxJEuI9PMA>" %}

Adding the Fibr Script takes about five minutes. Once it's installed and validated, you're ready to start running experiments and personalization campaigns.

***

#### **Before You Begin**

Make sure you have:

* Access to your website's HTML (specifically the `<head>` section)
* Admin or developer permissions to edit your site's code
* Your Fibr account credentials

***

#### Step-by-Step Installation

**Step 1:** Log in to your [Fibr Dashboard](https://app.getfibr.co) and click **Settings** in the left-hand menu.

**Step 2:** Go to the **Setup** section. You'll see your unique Fibr Script displayed here.

**Step 3:** Copy the script and paste it into the `<head>` section of your website.

Place it as high in the `<head>` as possible, before other scripts like analytics or tracking pixels. This ensures Fibr loads first and can deliver experiences without delay.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Avoid GTM installation** Google Tag Manager adds a delay that can cause flickering. [**Click here**](/get-started-with-fibr-ai/fibr-script/impact-of-fibr-script-using-gtm) to see impact.&#x20;
{% endhint %}

```html
<head>
  <!-- Fibr Script goes here, at the top -->
  <script>...</script>
  <!-- Other scripts below -->
</head>
```

**Step 4:** Save and publish your changes.

**Step 5:** Back in the Fibr Dashboard, enter your site URL in the field provided and click **Add URL**.

**Step 6:** Click **Validate**, then **Check now**.

You'll see a success message once Fibr confirms the script is working correctly.

***

#### **Handling Subdomains**

If you add the script to your main domain (e.g., `example.com`), it will automatically apply to all subdomains (e.g., `blog.example.com`, `shop.example.com`).

However, if you want the script to run only on specific pages or subdomains, you'll need to add it individually to those pages instead.

**Remember to whitelist all domains:** In your Fibr workspace, make sure every domain and subdomain where the script runs is added to your allowed list. Otherwise, Fibr won't recognize traffic from those URLs.

***

#### **Troubleshooting: Fixing Flickering**

If you notice a brief flash where the original page appears before the personalized version loads, try these fixes:

**Option 1: Use the anti-flicker script** In the Setup section of your dashboard, you'll find an alternate version of the script designed to prevent flickering. Switch to this version if the standard script causes issues.

**Option 2: Check your script placement** Flickering often happens when the Fibr Script loads too late. Make sure it's positioned at the very top of your `<head>` tag, before any other scripts.

[Learn more about impact of Fibr Script on Web Performance →](/get-started-with-fibr-ai/fibr-script/impact-of-fibr-script-on-web-performance)

***

#### **Validation Failed?**

If the validation check doesn't pass:

* **Double-check the script placement.** It must be inside the `<head>` tag, not the `<body>`.
* **Clear your cache.** Your browser or CDN might be serving an older version of your page.
* **Verify the URL matches exactly.** Include or exclude `www.` consistently with how your site loads.
* **Check for script blockers.** Ad blockers or privacy extensions can sometimes interfere with validation.

***

#### **Troubleshooting**

* **The app won't install** Make sure you have admin permissions in Shopify. Store staff accounts with limited access may not be able to install apps.
* **Validation fails after installation** Clear your browser cache and try again. Shopify sometimes caches pages, which can delay the script from appearing. If it still fails after a few minutes, try validating in an incognito window.
* **I use a custom domain** Add both your custom domain (e.g., `store.yourbrand.com`) and your default Shopify domain (e.g., `yourstore.myshopify.com`) to your Fibr workspace. This ensures Fibr recognizes traffic regardless of which URL visitors use.
* **I have multiple Shopify stores** You can connect multiple stores to Fibr. Repeat this process for each store, and they'll all appear in your dashboard.

Still having issues? Contact us at <support@fibr.ai> and we'll help you get connected.

# Impact of Fibr Script on Web Performance

See how the Fibr Script performs across FCP, LCP, and Total Blocking Time, designed to ensure minimal impact on your website performance.

Every script you add to your website affects performance. We know that slower pages mean lower conversions, so we've engineered the Fibr Script to be as lightweight as possible.

To show you exactly what that means, we ran a head-to-head comparison of Fibr against other popular personalization tools: VWO, Kameleoon, and Mutiny. Here's what we found.

***

### **Performance Comparison**

We measured four key metrics that directly affect user experience and Core Web Vitals scores. Lower impact percentages are better.

#### **Overall Performance Score**

| Tool      | Without Script | With Script | Impact     |
| --------- | -------------- | ----------- | ---------- |
| **Fibr**  | 68.6           | 61.9        | **-9.77%** |
| VWO       | 68.6           | 58.0        | -15.45%    |
| Kameleoon | 68.6           | 57.2        | -16.62%    |
| Mutiny    | 68.6           | 58.5        | -14.72%    |

**Fibr's impact is 35-40% lower than competitors.**

***

#### **First Contentful Paint (FCP)**

FCP measures how quickly the first visible content appears. Faster is better for perceived load speed.

| Tool      | Without Script | With Script | Impact     |
| --------- | -------------- | ----------- | ---------- |
| **Fibr**  | 0.91s          | 0.99s       | **+8.79%** |
| VWO       | 0.91s          | 1.15s       | +26.37%    |
| Kameleoon | 0.91s          | 1.11s       | +21.98%    |
| Mutiny    | 0.91s          | 1.14s       | +25.27%    |

**Fibr adds less than 0.1 seconds. Competitors add 0.2 seconds or more.**

***

#### **Largest Contentful Paint (LCP)**

LCP measures when the largest visible element finishes loading. This is a Core Web Vital that affects your SEO.

| Tool      | Without Script | With Script | Impact      |
| --------- | -------------- | ----------- | ----------- |
| **Fibr**  | 1.92s          | 2.21s       | **+15.10%** |
| VWO       | 1.92s          | 2.31s       | +20.31%     |
| Kameleoon | 1.92s          | 2.15s       | +11.98%     |
| Mutiny    | 1.92s          | 2.60s       | +35.42%     |

**Fibr stays competitive on LCP, with Kameleoon slightly ahead on this specific metric.**

***

#### **Total Blocking Time (TBT)**

TBT measures how long the main thread is blocked, preventing user interaction. Lower is better for responsiveness.

| Tool      | Without Script | With Script | Impact      |
| --------- | -------------- | ----------- | ----------- |
| **Fibr**  | 481ms          | 587ms       | **+22.04%** |
| VWO       | 481ms          | 726ms       | +50.94%     |
| Kameleoon | 481ms          | 953ms       | +98.13%     |
| Mutiny    | 481ms          | 575ms       | +19.54%     |

**Fibr and Mutiny are close here, while Kameleoon nearly doubles blocking time.**

***

#### The Bottom Line

No personalization script has zero impact, but Fibr consistently ranks in the top two across all performance metrics. In most cases, the difference is significant: competitors often add 2-3x more overhead than Fibr.

We're continuing to optimize. Our goal is to make the performance impact negligible so you can personalize confidently without sacrificing speed.

***

#### Tips to Maximize Performance

Even with Fibr's lightweight script, you can further minimize impact:

1. **Place the script at the top of your&#x20;**<mark style="color:$primary;">**`<head>`**</mark>**&#x20;tag.** This ensures it loads early and doesn't compete with other resources.
2. **Avoid installing via Google Tag Manager.** GTM adds latency that can increase FCP and cause flickering. Direct installation is faster.
3. **Use the anti-flicker snippet if needed.** Available in your Setup dashboard, this prevents the flash of original content before personalization loads.
4. **Keep your `<head>` clean.** The fewer scripts competing for the main thread, the better your overall performance.

***

#### How We Tested

All tests were run under identical conditions:

* Same base website for all tools
* Scripts installed following each vendor's recommended method
* Metrics measured using industry-standard tooling
* Multiple runs averaged to account for variance

If you'd like more details about our testing methodology, reach out to us at <support@fibr.ai>.

# Impact of Fibr Script using GTM

See how the Fibr Script performs across key metrics like FCP, LCP, and Total Blocking Time if placed using Google Tag Manager.

You can install the Fibr Script through Google Tag Manager, but we recommend against it. Here's why.

***

#### The Problem with GTM Installation

Google Tag Manager adds an extra layer between your page and the Fibr Script. This delay affects how quickly Fibr can initialize and deliver personalized experiences.

The result? Slower performance metrics and a higher chance of flickering, where visitors briefly see your original page before the personalized version loads.

***

#### Performance Comparison: Direct vs. GTM

We tested the same Fibr Script installed two ways: directly in the `<head>` tag versus through Google Tag Manager.

| Metric                         | Direct Installation | Via GTM | Performance Hit |
| ------------------------------ | ------------------- | ------- | --------------- |
| First Contentful Paint (FCP)   | 0.99s               | 1.15s   | +160ms (+16%)   |
| Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) | 2.21s               | 2.31s   | +100ms (+5%)    |
| Total Blocking Time (TBT)      | 587ms               | 726ms   | +139ms (+24%)   |

**GTM adds roughly 100-160ms of delay across key metrics.** That might not sound like much, but it's enough to cause visible flickering and can hurt your Core Web Vitals scores.

***

#### When GTM Might Be Acceptable

Direct installation is always the better choice, but we understand that some teams have constraints. GTM installation may be acceptable if:

* You don't have direct access to your site's HTML
* Your organization requires all scripts to go through GTM for governance reasons
* The pages you're personalizing aren't performance-critical (e.g., internal tools, low-traffic landing pages)

If you do use GTM, test thoroughly for flickering and monitor your Core Web Vitals after deployment.

***

#### Our Recommendation

**Install the Fibr Script directly in your `<head>` tag whenever possible.**

Place it at the very top, before analytics tags and other third-party scripts. This gives Fibr the best chance to load early and deliver experiences without delay.

# Whitelist Fibr in Your Content Security Policy (CSP)

Learn how to whitelist Fibr in your Content Security Policy to ensure smooth script execution, personalization, and tracking without triggering security errors

If your website uses a Content Security Policy, you'll need to whitelist Fibr's domains before the script can run. Without this, your browser will block Fibr from loading, and experiments or personalization won't work.

Not sure if you have a CSP? Check with your development team, or look for a `Content-Security-Policy` header in your browser's developer tools under the Network tab.

***

#### What is a Content Security Policy?

A CSP is a security feature that tells browsers which external resources your site is allowed to load. It protects against cross-site scripting (XSS) and other code injection attacks by blocking unauthorized scripts.

If Fibr isn't whitelisted in your CSP, the browser will block our script from executing, even if you've installed it correctly.

***

#### **Domains to Whitelist**

Add the following Fibr domains to your Content Security Policy:

| Directive     | Domain to Add          |
| ------------- | ---------------------- |
| `script-src`  | `https://*.getfibr.co` |
| `connect-src` | `https://*.getfibr.co` |
| `img-src`     | `https://*.getfibr.co` |
| `style-src`   | `https://*.getfibr.co` |

**Example CSP header with Fibr included:**

```
Content-Security-Policy:
  default-src 'self';
  script-src 'self' https://*.getfibr.co;
  connect-src 'self' https://*.getfibr.co;
  img-src 'self' https://*.getfibr.co data:;
  style-src 'self' https://*.getfibr.co 'unsafe-inline';
```

Adjust this based on your existing CSP configuration. The key addition is `https://*.getfibr.co` in the relevant directives.

***

#### **How to Update Your CSP**

**Option 1: HTTP Header (Recommended)**

Add or modify the `Content-Security-Policy` header in your server configuration. The exact method depends on your setup:

* **Nginx:** Add to your server block in `nginx.conf`
* **Apache:** Add to `.htaccess` or your virtual host config
* **Cloudflare:** Use Transform Rules to add headers
* **Vercel/Netlify:** Add to your `vercel.json` or `netlify.toml`

**Option 2: Meta Tag**

If you can't modify HTTP headers, add a meta tag to your HTML `<head>`:

html

````html
<meta http-equiv="Content-Security-Policy" content="script-src 'self' https://*.getfibr.co; connect-src 'self' https://*.getfibr.co;">
```

Note: Meta tag CSPs have some limitations compared to HTTP headers. Header-based CSP is preferred when possible.

---

### Verifying Your CSP Configuration

After updating your CSP:

1. Open your website in Chrome or Firefox
2. Open Developer Tools (F12 or right-click → Inspect)
3. Go to the Console tab
4. Refresh the page

If Fibr is still blocked, you'll see an error like:
```
Refused to load the script 'https://cdn.getfibr.co/...' because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive...
````

If you see no CSP errors and Fibr validates successfully in your dashboard, you're all set.

***

#### **Common Issues**

* **CSP errors persist after adding Fibr domains:** Make sure you've added `https://*.getfibr.co` (with the wildcard) rather than a specific subdomain. Fibr uses multiple subdomains for different resources.
* **Multiple CSP headers conflict:** If you have CSP defined in both an HTTP header and a meta tag, browsers apply the most restrictive combination. Consolidate your CSP into a single source.
* **Third-party plugins override your CSP:** Some WordPress plugins or CDN services inject their own CSP headers. Check if another tool is overriding your configuration.

# Role-Based Access & Tenant Controls

Fibr gives you control over who can access your workspace and what they can do. This page explains how roles work and how to manage your team securely.

***

#### Understanding Roles

Fibr currently offers two permission levels:

<table><thead><tr><th width="121.34765625">Role</th><th width="312.203125">What They Can Do</th><th>What They Can't Do</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Admin</strong></td><td>Everything. Full access to all features, settings, and data.</td><td>No restrictions.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Member</strong></td><td>Create and manage experiments, personalization campaigns, and view analytics.</td><td>Cannot invite/remove team members, access billing, or modify integrations.</td></tr></tbody></table>

**Who gets which role?**

* The first person to create a workspace automatically becomes an Admin
* Admins choose the role when inviting new teammates
* You can change someone's role at any time from Settings → Team

***

#### Best Practices for Access Management

* **Limit Admin access:** Only give Admin access to people who genuinely need it: team leads, managers, or whoever handles billing and integrations. Most day-to-day users only need Member access.
* **Review access regularly:** Check your team list quarterly. Remove anyone who's left the company or no longer needs access. Stale accounts are a security risk.
* **Remove access promptly when someone leaves:** When a team member leaves your organization, remove their Fibr access immediately. Go to Settings → Team, find their name, and click Remove.
* **Use SSO for centralized control (Enterprise):** If you're on an Enterprise plan, enable SSO. This lets you manage Fibr access through your identity provider, so access is automatically revoked when someone leaves your organization.

***

#### Workspace Isolation

Each Fibr workspace is completely isolated:

* Team members can only see data from their own workspace
* Experiments and campaigns don't cross workspaces
* Integrations are workspace-specific

If you manage multiple brands or clients, create separate workspaces for each one. This keeps data separate and lets you control access independently.

**To create a new workspace:** Contact <support@fibr.ai>. We'll help you set up additional workspaces based on your plan.

***

#### Coming Soon

We're building more granular permissions for enterprise teams:

* **View-only access** for stakeholders who need to see results but not edit campaigns
* **Project-level permissions** to restrict access to specific experiments or campaigns
* **Custom roles** to define exactly what each team member can do

Want early access or have specific requirements? Let us know at <support@fibr.ai>.

* **Right to erasure:** You can request deletion of visitor data
* **Data portability:** Export your data at any time from the dashboard
* **Data Processing Agreement:** Available for customers who need a formal DPA

**Your responsibilities:**

* Disclose your use of Fibr in your privacy policy
* Implement appropriate consent collection for visitors in regulated regions
* Configure Fibr to respect consent signals where required

**Need a DPA?** Contact <support@fibr.ai> and we'll send one over.

***

#### **Cookie Usage**

Fibr uses first-party cookies to:

* Identify returning visitors
* Maintain consistent experiment assignments (so visitors see the same variant across sessions)
* Track conversions accurately

**Cookie details:**

| Cookie             | Purpose                    | Duration  |
| ------------------ | -------------------------- | --------- |
| `fibr_visitor_id`  | Identifies unique visitors | 12 months |
| `fibr_experiments` | Stores variant assignments | 12 months |

**These cookies are:**

* First-party only (set on your domain)
* Not used for cross-site tracking
* Not shared with third parties

**Consent integration:**

If you use a consent management platform, you can configure Fibr to load only after visitors consent to functional or analytics cookies. Contact us for implementation guidance.

***

#### **Third-Party Sharing**

**We do not sell your data. Ever.**

Your visitor data and experiment results are never:

* Sold to third parties
* Shared for advertising purposes
* Used to build profiles for other customers
* Combined with data from other Fibr customers

We use your data solely to provide Fibr's services to you.

**Subprocessors:**

Fibr uses a limited number of trusted subprocessors for infrastructure and services. A list is available upon request for customers completing vendor assessments.

# Can You Run Fibr on Your Local Machine?

Learn how to run the Fibr script on your local machine for testing and preview purposes, even though live campaigns won’t be active in this environment.

**Short answer:** No, Fibr cannot run on localhost or private development environments.

Here's why, and what you can do instead.

***

#### Why Fibr Requires a Public URL

The Fibr Script needs to communicate with our servers to:

1. Check which experiments and personalization rules are active
2. Determine which variant to show each visitor
3. Send back analytics and conversion data

This communication requires a publicly accessible URL. When you run a site on `localhost`, `127.0.0.1`, or a private IP address, Fibr's servers can't reach your site to validate the script or deliver experiences.

***

#### What About Private Staging Environments?

The same limitation applies to staging environments that:

* Are behind a VPN
* Require authentication to access
* Use internal network addresses
* Block external traffic

If Fibr can't reach the URL from the public internet, the script won't work.

***

#### How to Test Fibr During Development

**Option 1: Use a public staging environment**

Set up a staging site that's publicly accessible (even if it's not widely known). Add the Fibr Script to this environment and test there before deploying to production.

Tips for staging:

* Use a subdomain like `staging.yoursite.com`
* Add it to your Fibr workspace alongside your production domain
* You can run separate experiments on staging for testing

**Option 2: Use a tunnel service**

Tools like ngrok, Cloudflare Tunnel, or localtunnel create a public URL that points to your local development server.

Example with ngrok:

bash

```bash
ngrok http 3000
```

This gives you a URL like `https://abc123.ngrok.io` that Fibr can access. Add this URL to your Fibr workspace for testing.

Note: Tunnel URLs are temporary. You'll need to update your Fibr settings each time the URL changes.

**Option 3: Test in production with limited traffic**

If staging isn't an option, you can test safely in production:

1. Create an experiment with a small traffic allocation (e.g., 5%)
2. Use audience targeting to limit it to internal team members (by UTM parameter, cookie, or IP range)
3. Validate the experience works correctly
4. Gradually increase traffic once confirmed

***

#### Validating Your Script Locally

While Fibr won't fully function on localhost, you can still check if the script is installed correctly:

1. Open your local site in a browser
2. Open Developer Tools → Console
3. Look for any Fibr-related errors

If the script loads without errors, it's installed correctly and will work once deployed to a public URL.

| fibr\_campaign\_id          | Fibr campaign ID                                |
| fibr\_event                 | Always set to fibr\_track\_event                |
| fibr\_workflow\_id          | Fibr workflow ID                                |
| fibr\_campaign\_group\_name | Name of the personalization or experiment group |

These variables are automatically added to your GTM container during the integration process and can be used to create:

* Data Layer Variables
* Triggers
* Custom Tags

This setup gives you full control to build cross-platform tracking and analytics workflows using the data Fibr provides.

# How to set tracking parameters on Google Ads?

Fibr synchronizes your Google Ads using the tracking parameters defined in each ad. If these parameters are missing or incorrectly configured, the ads cannot be used for personalization within Fibr.

#### Requirements for valid configuration of ads       &#x20;

To ensure your ads sync correctly and can be used for Ads Personalization, your Google Ads **Tracking Template** must include **at least one** variable from below:

* {campaignid}
* {adgroupid}
* {keyword}
* {creative}

{% hint style="info" %}
For the best results, Fibr recommends including *all* of the above variables in your Tracking Template. This ensures full compatibility and maximizes the accuracy and depth of Ad Personalization.
{% endhint %}

**Recommended Tracking Template:**&#x20;

*{lpurl}?utm\_source={network}\&utm\_medium=cpc\&utm\_campaign={campaignid}\&utm\_adgroup={adgroupid}\&utm\_content={creative}\&utm\_term={keyword}*

**Sample Valid Tracking Templates:**

* *{lpurl}?utm\_campaign={campaignid}\&utm\_adgroup={adgroupid}\&utm\_content={creative}\&utm\_term={keyword}*
* *{lpurl}?utm\_adgroup={adgroupid}\&utm\_content={creative}\&utm\_term={keyword}*
* *{lpurl}?camaign\_name={campaignid}\&adgroupname={adgroupid}*
* *{lpurl}?utm\_campaign={campaignid}\&utm\_term={keyword}*

#### Steps to fix your tracking template

* **Step 1:** Open your **Google Ads** account.
* **Step 2:** Navigate to **Admin** (located at the bottom of the left-hand menu) and select **Account Settings**.

<figure><img src="/files/peLj5MoQfCgt4MJQ061s" alt="" width="265"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **Step 3:** Expand the **Tracking** section.

<figure><img src="/files/qVlKRc8hY2b5iew60Vv7" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **Step 4:** Add the required tracking template, then **Save** your changes.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Avoid using third-party tools that generate dynamic tracking templates. If such a tool is currently active, disable it to ensure Fibr can read your URL parameters correctly and use your ads for personalization.
{% endhint %}

&#x20;   &#x20;

# How to Sync New or Updated Ad Campaigns in Fibr

Whenever new ads are created or existing ads are updated, they must be synced with Fibr to ensure accurate tracking and personalization.

To sync the Google Ads, click on "**Sync Ads"** on the top right corner of dashboard(ton the left of "**disconnect"** button).

<figure><img src="/files/G5VAE9rHkXvCLIlptqmo" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

To sync your Google Ads, click **Sync Ads** in the top-right corner of the dashboard (located just left of the **Disconnect** button).\
When you select **Sync Ads**, you’ll see two options for syncing your ad campaigns:

* Sync Existing Ad Campaigns
* Sync New Ad Campaigns

#### Sync Existing Ad Campaigns&#x20;

Choose **Sync Existing Ad Campaigns** if you have added new ads or updated any campaigns that were previously synced to the Fibr Dashboard.

When this option is selected, Fibr re-syncs all existing campaigns to detect and import any updates or newly added ads.

#### Sync New Ad Campaigns&#x20;

Select **Sync New Ad Campaigns** if you want to import campaigns that have not been synced to the Fibr Dashboard before.

Choose the campaigns you wish to add, and Fibr will sync them so you can begin creating personalized experiences for those ads.

{% hint style="info" %}
The Ad campaigns sycned earlier will be pre-selected and blocked.
{% endhint %}

<figure><img src="/files/A0Psk7aNKbzIpJ2UQK8V" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Once synced, Fibr will retrieve ad details, including key metrics like conversion rates, tracking parameters, and more, offering in-depth analysis to support your personalization efforts and helping you craft tailored experiences based on the ad context.

<figure><img src="/files/3bDycPtHQGTkh5LZR53b" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="danger" %}
If your tracking parameters aren’t set up properly according to Fibr’s requirements, Fibr won’t be able to use the ads for personalization. Please [click here](/integrations/integrate-meta-ads/how-to-set-url-parameters-on-meta-ads) to learn more on how to fix the tracking parameters.

{% endhint %}

# How to set URL Parameters on Meta Ads?

Fibr syncs Meta Ads via URL parameters in each ad. Missing or incorrect parameters will prevent those ads from being used for personalization within Fibr.

#### Requirements for valid configuration of ads       &#x20;

To ensure your ads sync correctly and can be used for Ads Personalization, your Google Ads Tracking Template must include at least one variable from below:

* {{campaign.id}} or {{campaign.name}}
* {{adset.id}} or {{adset.name}}
* {{ad.id}} or {{ad.name}}

{% hint style="info" %}
For the best results, Fibr recommends including *all* of the above variables in your Tracking Template. This ensures full compatibility and maximizes the accuracy and depth of Ad Personalization.
{% endhint %}

**Recommended Tracking Template:**&#x20;

*{lpurl}?utm\_source={{site\_source\_name}}\&utm\_medium=cpc\&utm\_campaign={{campaign.name}}\&utm\_content={{adset.name}}\&utm\_term={{ad.name}}*

<p align="center"><em>or</em></p>

# How to Sync New or Updated Ad Campaigns in Fibr

Whenever new ads are created or existing ads are updated, they must be synced with Fibr to ensure accurate tracking and personalization.

To sync your Google Ads, click Sync Ads in the top-right corner of the dashboard (located just left of the Disconnect button).

<figure><img src="/files/G5VAE9rHkXvCLIlptqmo" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

When you select **Sync Ads**, you’ll see two options for syncing your ad campaigns:

* Sync Existing Ad Campaigns
* Sync New Ads Campaigns

#### Sync Existing Ad Campaigns&#x20;

Choose "**Sync Existing Ad Campaigns"** if you have added new ads or updated any campaigns that were previously synced to the Fibr Dashboard.

When this option is selected, Fibr re-syncs all existing campaigns to detect and import any updates or newly added ads.

#### Sync New Ads Campaigns&#x20;

Select **Sync New Ad Campaigns** if you want to import campaigns that have not been synced to the Fibr Dashboard before.

Choose the campaigns you wish to add, and Fibr will sync them so you can begin creating personalized experiences for those ads.

{% hint style="info" %}
The Ad campaigns sycned earlier will be pre-selected and blocked.
{% endhint %}

<figure><img src="/files/Mwbz5u4iGEV0aWQ7UhOC" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="danger" %}

# Key features of Fibr Editor

Fibr Editor gives you full control over your landing pages without touching code. Here's everything you can do.

***

#### Content Editing

**Edit any element** Click on any text, image, video, or button to modify it. Change headlines, update CTAs, swap product images, or replace video embeds. The editor works with most standard HTML elements.

**Delete elements** Remove anything that doesn't belong in your variant. Hide distracting sections, remove outdated banners, or simplify the page for specific audiences. Deleted elements only disappear in your variant; the original page stays intact.

**Add widgets** Insert new components like pop-ups, notification bars, countdown timers, or lead capture forms. Widgets help you add functionality without editing your site's codebase.

***

#### Layout Control

**Move and rearrange elements** Drag sections to reorder your page. Move testimonials above the fold, reposition CTAs, or restructure content flow. The editor maintains your page's layout integrity so nothing breaks.

**Resize elements** Adjust the dimensions of containers, images, and sections. Make a hero image larger, shrink a sidebar, or expand a content block to fill more space.

**Group elements** In Controlled Mode, you can group related elements together. This ensures they load as a unit, preventing awkward partial rendering where some elements appear before others.

***

#### Styling

**Change visual properties** Update fonts, colors, spacing, and backgrounds without CSS. Make a button stand out with a new color, increase text size for readability, or adjust padding for better visual balance.

**What you can style:**

* Font family, size, weight, and color
* Background colors and images
* Padding and margins
* Border styles and radius
* Text alignment
* Opacity and visibility

***

#### Advanced Editing

**Direct HTML editing** For changes that go beyond the visual editor, switch to HTML mode. Edit the underlying code directly to add custom attributes, embed third-party scripts, or make precise adjustments.

> **Note:** HTML editing is powerful but requires basic HTML knowledge. Incorrect changes can break your variant's appearance or functionality.

***

#### Version Control

**Change logs** Every edit is tracked. You can view saved changes, review drafts, and see the complete history of modifications for each variant.

**Conflict detection** When editing for different devices (desktop vs. mobile), Fibr flags potential conflicts. This helps you catch issues where a change looks great on desktop but breaks the mobile experience.

**Draft and publish workflow** Save work-in-progress as drafts without affecting live experiences. When you're ready, publish with one click. Need to undo? Revert to any previous version instantly.

***

#### Device-Specific Editing

**Desktop and mobile views** Switch between device views to see how your changes look on different screen sizes. Make device-specific adjustments when a single design doesn't work everywhere.

**Responsive preview** Preview your variant across common breakpoints before publishing. Catch layout issues before visitors do.

***

* [**Track events on variants**](/tracking-and-analytics/success-metric-in-fibr-campaigns)**:** Set up click and conversion tracking

# Limitations of Fibr Editor

Fibr Editor is powerful, but it has boundaries. Understanding these limitations upfront helps you plan better and avoid frustration. For most cases, there's a workaround or alternative approach.

***

#### Browser Limitations

**Chrome only** Fibr Editor runs as a Chrome extension. It doesn't work in Firefox, Safari, Edge, or other browsers. Make sure your team uses Chrome when creating or editing variants.

**Extension must be active** The editor only works when the Chrome extension is installed and you're signed in. If you're having issues, check that the extension is enabled and you're logged into the correct workspace.

***

#### Element Limitations

**Some elements can't be edited** Fibr works with standard HTML elements, but certain elements may not be editable:

* Elements loaded dynamically via JavaScript after page load
* Content inside iframes (like embedded videos or third-party widgets)
* Elements with heavy JavaScript manipulation (e.g., some React or Vue components)
* Canvas elements and WebGL content
* Content generated by third-party scripts

**Workaround:** For elements Fibr can't select, use the HTML edit feature to target them directly, or work with your development team to make those elements accessible.

**Complex single-page applications (SPAs)** Websites built entirely with React, Angular, or Vue may have limited compatibility. Fibr works best when the DOM structure is stable. If your site heavily manipulates the DOM after load, some edits may not persist correctly.

**Workaround:** Test thoroughly in preview mode. For SPA-heavy sites, consider having developers expose stable container elements that Fibr can target reliably.

***

#### Styling Limitations

**Inherited styles may override changes** If your site uses CSS with high specificity or `!important` declarations, Fibr's style changes might not take effect. The editor applies inline styles, which can be overridden by aggressive CSS rules.

**Workaround:** Use HTML edit mode to add inline styles with `!important`, or work with your development team to reduce CSS specificity on elements you want to personalize.

**Custom fonts require availability** You can change font families, but the font must be already loaded on your page or available as a web-safe font. Fibr doesn't upload or host custom fonts.

**Workaround:** Ask your development team to load any additional fonts you need in the site's CSS, then reference them in Fibr.

***

#### Functional Limitations

**No backend changes** Fibr modifies the front-end presentation layer only. It cannot:

* Change server-side logic or API responses
* Modify database content
* Alter form submission destinations
* Affect authentication or user sessions

**Workaround:** For backend-dependent personalization, work with your development team to create front-end hooks that Fibr can trigger.

**No cross-page persistence** Edits apply to individual pages. If you change a header on Page A, it won't automatically change on Page B, even if they share the same template.

**Workaround:** Use Fibr's bulk editing feature to apply similar changes across multiple pages efficiently.

**Limited form modification** You can edit form labels, placeholder text, and styling. However, you cannot:

* Add new form fields that submit data
* Change where form data is sent
* Modify form validation logic

**Workaround:** Use widgets to add supplementary lead capture forms that integrate with Fibr's tracking.

***

#### Performance Considerations

**Very large pages may slow the editor** Pages with thousands of DOM elements or heavy media content can make the editor less responsive. The live page won't be affected, but editing may feel sluggish.

**Workaround:** Close unnecessary browser tabs, or edit on a simplified staging version of the page first.

**Multiple conflicting tools** If you're running other visual editing tools, heatmapping scripts, or optimization platforms simultaneously, they may conflict with Fibr.

**Workaround:** Disable other visual editing tools while using Fibr Editor. They can run alongside Fibr in production without issues; conflicts mainly occur during editing.

***

#### What Fibr Editor is NOT For

| Use Case                      | Why It Doesn't Fit               | Alternative                                             |
| ----------------------------- | -------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| Building pages from scratch | Fibr edits existing pages | Use Fibr Genesis to create new landing pages |
| Major site redesigns | Too many interdependent changes | Work with developers for structural changes |
| E-commerce product data       | Product info comes from backend  | Use your e-commerce platform's tools                    |
| Dynamic user-specific content | Requires backend personalization | Integrate with your CDP for data-driven personalization |

***

#### When to Involve Developers

Fibr Editor handles most marketing-driven changes independently. But some scenarios benefit from developer support:

* Making elements "Fibr-friendly" for easier targeting
* Loading additional fonts or assets you want to use
* Creating stable container elements in SPAs
* Setting up backend integrations for advanced personalization
* Resolving CSS specificity conflicts

A small amount of developer time upfront can significantly expand what you can do with Fibr independently.

# Overview

#### Why This Matters

If you're running experiments manually, you already know the pain: weeks of setup, constant developer requests, and insights that arrive too late to be useful. You're not alone. Most marketers struggle with slow, one-off tests that don't scale.

#### The Challenge You're Facing

Traditional A/B testing creates bottlenecks that slow down your entire marketing operation:

* **You're waiting on developers** for every test setup, making quick iterations nearly impossible
* **Each experiment starts from scratch** because there's no way to reuse what you've already learned
* **Your campaigns lag behind** because insights take too long to surface and act on

The result? Your competitors are moving faster while you're stuck in setup mode.

#### How Fibr Solves This

Fibr automates the entire experimentation workflow, from hypothesis generation to variant creation to analysis. You'll go from idea to live test in minutes, not weeks, without writing a single line of code.

Here's what makes it powerful: every hypothesis Fibr generates answers three critical questions for you:

* **What's underperforming?** We'll pinpoint the exact elements holding your campaigns back
* **Why might this be happening?** You'll get data-backed reasons, not guesses
* **What can you change to fix it?** We'll suggest specific, testable variations

<figure><img src="/files/lVZHJXkk1LyaW5PJ8AWA" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### The Data Behind Your Hypotheses

Fibr analyzes multiple data layers to generate meaningful, actionable hypotheses you can trust:

| Signal Source    | Data We Read                      | What You'll Learn                                        |
| ---------------- | --------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------- |
| GA4 / Analytics | Session data, bounce rates, goals | Where users are dropping off and why trends are shifting |
| On-page Behavior | Scrolls, clicks, heatmap data | Which UI/UX elements are causing friction |
| Brand Guidelines | Brand looks, tone, assets | How to test while maintaining brand consistency |

#### From Hypothesis to Live Test in One Click

Once you've identified a hypothesis worth testing, Fibr automatically creates variants for you. No developer needed. You'll maintain complete control while eliminating weeks of back-and-forth.

<figure><img src="/files/IWF1jrSqWb9z5veCy4YC" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Fibr handles the technical heavy lifting (test setup, variant creation, data tracking, and statistical significance calculations) so you can focus on what actually matters: learning what works and scaling it.

#### Tips to Get the Best Results

**Before You Start Testing:**

* Treat each hypothesis as a starting point for discussion with your team, not a final answer. Refine it based on your unique context
* Connect your Google Analytics (GA4) data to unlock more precise, higher-confidence recommendations
* Focus on your top 3–5 hypotheses. Testing too many at once will dilute your results and slow down learning

**When Setting Up Experiments:**

* Choose one clear metric per experiment (like lead rate or bounce rate). Multiple goals make it harder to understand what's actually working
* Define success upfront with specific targets (e.g., "Increase lead rate by 10%" or "Reduce bounce rate by 15%")
* Let Fibr auto-generate your variants to avoid introducing bias. You can always review and adjust before going live

**During Your Tests:**

* Run experiments for a statistically valid period before making decisions. Fibr will tell you when you have enough data
* Remember: a week of solid data beats a month of hunches

**Congratulations!** You're now ready to run experimentation at scale. Start with one high-impact hypothesis and watch how quickly you can iterate from there.

# Key Concepts

Before running experiments, understand these core concepts.

***

#### Hypothesis

A hypothesis is a specific, testable prediction about what change will improve a metric.

**Good hypothesis:** "Changing the CTA from 'Learn More' to 'Get Started Free' will increase button clicks by 15% because it reduces perceived commitment."

**Bad hypothesis:** "Let's try a different button."

A strong hypothesis includes:

* What you're changing
* What metric will improve
* Why you believe this will work

***

#### Variants

Variants are different versions of your page that you test against each other.

* **Control:** Your original page (unchanged)
* **Variant A, B, C...:** Modified versions

In an A/B test, you have one control and one variant. In a multivariate test, you test multiple variants simultaneously.

***

#### Statistical Significance

Statistical significance tells you whether your results are real or just random chance.

Fibr calculates this automatically. When an experiment reaches statistical significance (typically 95% confidence), you can trust that the winning variant actually performs better.

**Before significance:** Results might flip. Don't make decisions yet.

**After significance:** Results are reliable. Roll out the winner.

***

#### Traffic Allocation

Traffic allocation determines what percentage of visitors see each variant.

**50/50 split:** Half see control, half see variant. Fastest results but higher risk.

**90/10 split:** Most visitors see control, small group sees variant. Safer but slower.

Start with 50/50 unless you're testing something risky.

# How to launch new experiments on Fibr AI?

Fibr automatically generates hypotheses by analyzing page performance and visitor behavior, then converts them into experiments and tests them at scale.

{% endhint %}

#### Step 4: Fill the campaign details      &#x20;

Give your hypothesis a clear, descriptive name and choose the goal you want to optimize (like Lead Submitted, Add to Cart, or Start Free Trial).

<figure><img src="/files/ieEHQFrADZkOJg7Us4ma" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

> **We Recommend Connecting Google Analytics (GA4)**
>
> Toggle on "Connect Google Analytics" to unlock more accurate, data-driven hypotheses. When connected, Fibr will:
>
> * Analyze real user behavior (scroll depth, time on page, bounce rate, and more)
> * Leverage audience insights to make recommendations that match your actual traffic patterns

{% content-ref url="/pages/hWzm3Lb4r9XX0TAAQXQb" %}
[Integrate Google Analytics (GA4)](/integrations/integrate-google-analytics-ga4)
{% endcontent-ref %}

#### Step 5: Add Page Context

Before generating hypotheses, Fibr needs a bit of context about your page and audience to make its suggestions spot-on.

* **Review Key Benefits:** Fibr automatically detects and pre-fills your main value propositions. Check that they're accurate.
* **Define Your Target Audience:** Select the audience segment this page is designed for.
* **Add Common Customer Objections:** Help Fibr optimize your content by sharing what concerns or hesitations your customers typically have.

<figure><img src="/files/dOLQsyW8SdCrDYpej6Sn" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Once you've reviewed or adjusted these inputs, click **Generate Hypothesis**.

#### Step 6: Review Your Hypotheses

Fibr will analyze your page, highlight what's working and what's not, and present you with the top data-backed hypotheses.

Each hypothesis includes:

* What element to change (text, visuals, or layout)
* Why it matters for your conversion goals
* The expected impact on performance

<figure><img src="/files/t3wPKqIKcOvdiVWAcydO" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You're ready to convert any of these directly into an experiment.

#### Step 7: Select Hypotheses to Test

Click **Test Hypothesis** to choose which hypotheses you want to run. Fibr lets you select your top picks based on potential impact and your testing priorities.

<figure><img src="/files/Jw6pjopK4quMbt0GIvZ2" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Once you've confirmed your selections, click **Create Experiment**.

#### Step 8: Review and Publish Your Campaign

Fibr automatically creates an experiment with each hypothesis as a separate variant. Traffic is split uniformly across all variants by default, but you can adjust the allocation based on your needs.

<figure><img src="/files/W3zooPiIEEgCl57bNnNd" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Important:** Make sure your total traffic allocation always adds up to 100%.

Next, add your **Primary Metric** to track. This is how you'll measure which variant wins (e.g., conversion rate, click-through rate, or form submissions).

Review everything one last time, then click **Publish** to make your campaign live.

**Congratulations!** Your experiment is now running. Fibr will track performance and let you know when you have statistically significant results.

# Overview

#### Why This Matters

Every visitor landing on your page is different. They're coming from different ads, locations, and devices. They have different needs, different levels of intent, and different objections. But chances are, you're showing them all the same generic page.

You already know this hurts conversions. What's worse? Most personalization tools force you to choose between speed, technical complexity, and scale. You either launch fast with basic personalization, or you wait weeks for engineering support to build something sophisticated.

#### The Challenge You're Facing

When every visitor sees the same experience, you're leaving conversions on the table:

* **High-intent visitors bounce** because your messaging doesn't match what they're looking for
* **Your ad spend underperforms** because there's a disconnect between what your ads promise and what your landing page delivers
* **Personalization projects stall** while you wait for developers to implement rules and variations
* **You can't scale** because creating custom experiences manually for every segment is impossibly time-consuming

The result? You're stuck running generic campaigns while your competitors deliver tailored experiences that convert better.

#### How Fibr Solves This

The Fibr Personalization Suite lets you create scalable, data-driven personalization without engineering support or manual heavy lifting. Fibr identifies the best personalization opportunities for you, suggests what to change, and lets you launch thousands of tailored experiences in minutes, not months.

Here's what you can do:

* **Ads Personalization:** Match your landing page to the exact ad each visitor clicked. When your page mirrors your ad's messaging, images, and offer, visitors convert because they get exactly what they expected.
* **Location Personalization:** Adapt your web experience based on where your visitors are located. Show region-specific offers, local testimonials, or geography-relevant messaging that resonates with each audience.
* **LLM Personalization:** Personalize experiences for high-intent visitors arriving from AI platforms like ChatGPT or Perplexity. These visitors often have specific questions or needs. Meet them with relevant, targeted content.
* **Audience Personalization:** Create tailored experiences for specific audience segments based on their behavior, attributes, and stage in the buyer journey. First-time visitors see different content than returning users or high-value prospects.
* **CDP Personalization:** Connect your Customer Data Platform (CDP) to personalize experiences for existing customers. Show them relevant upsells, account-specific offers, or content based on their purchase history and preferences.

# Ads Personalization

#### Why This Matters

You're spending thousands on Google and Meta ads with carefully crafted headlines, offers, and targeting. Each ad speaks to a specific audience with a specific promise. But when visitors click through, they land on a generic page that looks nothing like the ad they just saw.

The disconnect is killing your conversions. Your visitor expected one thing and got something completely different. So they bounce.

You know you should create custom landing pages for each ad, but who has time for that? Creating hundreds of ad-specific pages manually would take months, and you'd need constant developer support just to keep them updated.

#### The Challenge You're Facing

When your landing pages don't match your ads, your entire funnel suffers:

* **Your conversion rates drop** because visitors don't see the message or offer that convinced them to click
* **High-performing ads underperform** because the post-click experience breaks the promise your ad made
* **You waste hours** manually creating and updating landing page variants for different campaigns
* **Scaling becomes impossible** when you're running dozens or hundreds of active campaigns across platforms

The result? You're paying for clicks but losing conversions because of message mismatch.

#### How Fibr Solves This

Fibr's Ad Personalization automatically aligns your landing pages with the exact ad each visitor clicked. When someone clicks your Facebook ad about "50% off running shoes," they'll see a landing page with that same headline, offer, and imagery. No delays, no manual work, no developer needed.

You'll create and manage thousands of ad-aligned experiences at scale. Fibr keeps your messaging consistent from click to conversion, ensuring every visitor gets the relevant, personalized journey they expect.

#### What You Can Do

* **Match headlines and copy** so your landing page echoes the exact message from your ad
* **Show the right offer** based on which promotion the visitor clicked
* **Display relevant images** that match your ad creative for visual consistency
* **Personalize CTAs** to align with where the visitor is in their journey
* **Create campaign-specific experiences** for seasonal promotions, product launches, or audience segments

**Ready to Get Started?** Setting up ad personalization takes just a few minutes. Connect your Google or Meta Ads account, choose which campaigns to personalize, and let Fibr handle the rest.

# LLM based Personalization

Personalize landing pages in Fibr based on ad campaigns so visitors see content tailored to the specific ad they clicked on for a seamless, relevant experience.

### The Current Scenario

Your website is being discovered by AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and others that browse the web to answer user questions. These AI tools represent a growing portion of web traffic - but they have completely different expectations than human visitors.

AI assistants scan for specific information quickly, expect direct answers, and prioritize factual content over marketing copy. They're looking to extract value for the person who asked the question, not to be "converted" in traditional ways.

But most sites still show the exact same content to AI traffic that they show to humans - homepage heroes, lengthy marketing copy, and conversion-focused layouts that don't serve AI visitors well.

Making AI-specific experiences manually is possible, but it becomes complex fast. The moment you want to optimize for multiple AI platforms while still serving human visitors, you're stuck managing different detection methods, multiple page versions, and constant updates as AI behaviors evolve.

***

### The Impact on Marketers

When LLM traffic is ignored:

**Missed opportunities**: AI assistants skip over your content because it doesn't directly answer what they're looking for, reducing your chances of being cited or referenced.

**Poor user experience**: When an AI does reference your site, the person clicking through finds marketing fluff instead of the substantive information the AI promised.

**Conversion confusion**: Traditional conversion funnels don't work when the "visitor" is an AI trying to extract information for someone else.

**Competitive disadvantage**: Sites that serve AI traffic well get more citations, references, and qualified human traffic from AI recommendations.

***

### Solution: Fibr LLM Personalization

Fibr LLM Personalization helps you create web experiences tailored for AI assistant traffic without building and managing separate pages manually.

You can personalize things like:

* **Content structure** - Lead with key facts instead of marketing headlines
* **Information hierarchy** - Present answers before explanations
* **Data presentation** - Use structured formats AI can easily parse
* **Call-to-actions** - Focus on "learn more" rather than "buy now"

So when AI assistants visit your pages, they find exactly what they need to provide valuable answers, while human visitors still get the optimized experience designed for them.

The bigger win is future-proofing. As AI traffic continues to grow, you're positioned to capture this valuable source of qualified referrals without constant technical overhead.

# Audience Personalization

Discover how to personalize your website in Fibr using audience attributes like location, behavior, and device type to boost engagement and conversions.

#### Why this exists

Your site does not get “traffic.” It gets people with different intent, context, devices, and history.

But most websites still treat everyone the same, because making experiences audience-aware usually means:

* building complicated rules
* wiring tracking and tools
* waiting on engineering
* maintaining logic forever

So the experience stays generic, even when your audience clearly is not.

***

#### What that costs you as a marketer

When every visitor sees the same thing:

* **Relevance drops**\
  A first-time visitor and a returning visitor should not be convinced the same way.
* **High-value audiences do not get special treatment**\
  Your best prospects land on the same page as casual browsers.
* **Personalization becomes a project**\
  Segment-based changes require technical effort, reviews, and repeat work.
* **Learning slows down**\
  You do not get a clean answer to “What works for this audience?” You get scattered insights and partial conclusions.

The result is simple: you know the audience is different, but the experience cannot keep up.

***

#### The Solution: Fibr Audience Personalization

Audience Personalization makes segmentation and experience changes feel like a marketer workflow, not a technical build.

You define the audience you care about, and Fibr helps you personalize the experience for that audience without code changes.

**How you can define audiences**

Create segments using signals like:

* **Behavior** (for example engaged visitors vs. quick exits, deep scrollers vs. skim readers)
* **Device** (mobile vs. desktop)
* **Geography** (region, city, country)
* **Custom cohorts** (the segments that matter to your business)

[Defining Audience Segments for Audience Personalization](/fibr-personalization-suite/audience-personalization/defining-audience-segments-for-audience-personalization)
{% endcontent-ref %}

***

#### How Fibr makes this scalable

Fibr uses the same detection and generation engine behind Ads Personalization, but applies it to audience context instead of ad context.

Once you define your segment, Fibr can:

* detect that audience in real time
* suggest what to change on the page for higher relevance
* generate personalized variants at scale

No brittle rule forests. No constant engineering dependency. No manual churn.

# Defining Audience Segments for Audience Personalization

Learn how to define your target audience in Fibr using UTM parameters, visitor behavior, and device type to create tailored experiences for specific segments.

If everyone sees the same page, you end up guessing what works. Audience segments fix that.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to define the right visitors for each variant so your personalization is targeted, measurable, and easy to scale.

**Before you begin:** Make sure you are already inside the Audience Personalization campaign setup flow and you can see the Audience segmentation section.

**Why this matters:** Audience rules decide who sees which experience. Clean segments mean cleaner learnings, and faster wins.

{% hint style="info" %}
This tutorial tells you how to configure audience segments on Fibr for Audience Personalization.
{% endhint %}

***

### What you can build segments with

Audience Personalization lets you define segments using these rule types:

* **Location:** Segment visitors by geography.
* **UTM parameters:** Use utm\_source, utm\_medium, utm\_campaign to target visitors based on how they arrived.
* **User type:** Separate new visitors and returning visitors.
* **Device:** Target desktop, mobile, or tablet visitors.
* **Browser:** Target visitors using a specific browser.
* **Operating system:** Target visitors using a specific OS.
* **Referral URL:** Target visitors based on the URL they came from.

**Pro Tip:** Start simple. One strong segment beats five messy ones.

***

### Step-by-step: Define your audience

Use this when you want to create segments one by one.

#### Step 1: Add your first segment

Click **Add First Segment** to get started.\
You’re setting the foundation for who should see your first personalized experience.

<figure><img src="/files/WSb0R9XtJ7ishkXxnAAB" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Step 2: Choose a rule and set conditions

Select a rule from the list, then define the condition.\
Example: UTM parameter utm\_campaign contains “brand-search”.

<figure><img src="/files/ZVY1Df7D9BmvJdrXhDC9" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Step 3: Combine rules to refine the segment

Add more rules to narrow the audience.\
Example: target new visitors from Australia.

<figure><img src="/files/0o1giKsvL99ZrK19nfVa" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Nice. Now you’re targeting intent plus context, not just traffic.

#### Step 4: Create additional segments

Repeat the same approach to create more segments.\
Each segment can map to a different personalized variant later.

<figure><img src="/files/7n188UHgFfsfDV0JDxfR" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

***

### Step-by-step: Define your audience in Bulk Mode

Use Bulk Mode when you already know you want multiple segments and you want to set them up faster.

#### Step 1: Click Bulk Create

<figure><img src="/files/PAv8mLH4EDSFcc4WwwSn" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Step 2: Choose how many segments to create

Select:

* the number of segments
* the rule types you want to use\
  Then click **Create Segments**.

<figure><img src="/files/dSZc6VMfGscrXrU1SWEU" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Step 3: Fill in conditions for each segment

Define the rule conditions for each row.\
Once the conditions look right, you’re ready to use them in your campaign flow.

<figure><img src="/files/8MWeb1kqsTsvIG30RPm1" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
In case you have missed any rules or need more/less segments, you can "Add Row", "Remove Row" and "Add/Remove Rules".
{% endhint %}

#### Editing in Bulk Mode

If you need to change the setup mid-way, you can:

* **Add Row**: add another segment
* **Delete Row**: remove selected segments
* **Add Rule**: add a new rule to define the segment
* **Remove Rule**: remove an existing rule from the segment

# Location based Personalization

Learn how to personalize landing pages in Fibr based on ad campaigns so visitors see content matched to the specific ad they clicked on for better conversions.

### The current scenario

Your website is visited by people from different regions, cities, and countries. They show up with different expectations, local context, and sometimes even different rules they need you to follow.

But most sites still show the exact same content to everyone, no matter where they are.

Making location-specific experiences manually is possible, but it becomes painful fast. The moment you need to target multiple regions, you are stuck managing too many variations, too many updates, and too much ongoing effort.

***

### The impact on marketers

When location is ignored:

* **Relevance drops**\
  Visitors see messaging and offers that do not fit their market or context.
* **Local requirements get missed**\
  Region-specific offers, language nuance, pricing expectations, and compliance needs can slip through.
* **Conversions suffer**\
  When the page feels “not for me,” people hesitate or leave.
* **Operations get messy**\
  Teams struggle to manage multiple location-based variations without turning the website into a maintenance project.

***

### Solution: Fibr Location Personalization

Fibr Location Personalization helps you tailor web experiences based on where a visitor is located, without making you build and manage separate pages manually.

You can personalize things like:

* Messaging and headlines
* Content sections
* Offers and CTAs
* Visuals and layout choices

So visitors in different regions get an experience that feels more relevant from the first second.

The bigger win is scalability. You can support many locations without adding ongoing technical work or turning every update into a rebuild.

***

### How Fibr detects location

Fibr determines a visitor’s location using their IP address.

This happens automatically, so you can focus on deciding what each region should see, not on wiring detection logic.

Toggle on **Connect Google Analytics** to let Fibr use real behavioral data for smarter recommendations.

When GA4 is connected, Fibr can:

* analyze user behavior like scroll depth, time on page, and bounce rate
* use audience signals to generate more relevant recommendations

This is optional, but your suggestions are usually stronger with GA4 connected.
{% endhint %}

***

#### Step 5: Add a segment

Click **Add Segment** to start defining the locations you want to personalize for.

<figure><img src="/files/apChrq6zQJCUF7Evd5Uc" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

***

#### Step 6: Define your location segments

<figure><img src="/files/ivR5ifxeT8lj40DRjZye" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Once you are done, click **Continue** to generate recommendations.

Tip: Start with a few high-impact locations first. You can always add more segments later.

***

#### Step 7: Review AI suggestions

Fibr generates suggestions to personalize your web experiences for the location segments you defined.

Review the recommendations from Fibr AI.

<figure><img src="/files/koKGQkjiS2z9dloOOt7o" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Step 9: Set measurement and holdout

1. Add a **success metric** to track conversions
2. Set a **holdout** percentage to decide how many visitors should still see the original experience

{% hint style="info" %}
By default the holdout is 10% and the minimum suggested holdout is 5%.&#x20;

This keeps your results reliable while you personalize.
{% endhint %}

#### Step 10: Publish or schedule

Click **Publish** to go live now, or **Schedule** to launch later.

Once live, visitors from your defined location segments will see their tailored experience instead of the original.

You are ready to launch.

# Limitations of Location Personalization

Location Personalization works well for the vast majority of visitors. Still, there are a few situations where the detected location may not match the visitor’s exact physical location. This section explains when that can happen, why it happens, and what you can do about it.

***

#### 1) ISP-based location detection

Location detection depends on how Internet Service Providers route traffic.

Sometimes ISPs route users through centralized hubs that are not physically close to the visitor. In those cases, the visitor may be mapped to the hub’s region instead of their actual region.

**Example**\
A visitor near a regional border, such as New York and Connecticut, may occasionally be attributed to the neighboring region’s hub.

**Note**\
This is rare. In most cases, the detected location will still be accurate at the region level.

***

#### 2) Browser privacy features

Some browsers prioritize privacy in ways that reduce location precision.

For example, Safari can anonymize IP addresses and intentionally “fuzz” location to a broader range, often closer to a city-level area. This protects the visitor’s privacy, but it can reduce the accuracy of location-based personalization.

***

#### 3) Cached variants for returning visitors

If a visitor sees a personalized variant for one location and later accesses your site from a new location, they might continue seeing the earlier experience for a short period.

Here is when this happens:

* the visitor changes location
* there are no rules set for the new location

In that case, the visitor will continue seeing the previously cached variant for up to 48 hours.

This avoids immediately falling back to a generic experience, but it can create a temporary mismatch until the cache refreshes.

***

#### 4) No GPS integration

Fibr uses IP-based detection and does not use GPS to detect precise location.

GPS-based targeting would require explicit visitor permission through a browser prompt like “Allow” or “Block.” To keep the experience frictionless, Fibr avoids that type of prompt by default.

**Need GPS-level precision?**\
If your use case requires GPS-based geolocation for personalization, contact us and we can explore a custom approach.

***

#### Setting expectations

If you are personalizing for strict geo boundaries or compliance-sensitive regions, plan for small edge cases:

* keep your segments slightly broader when possible
* ensure your default experience is still safe and relevant
* test with Safari traffic separately if location precision matters

If you want, share the kinds of location segments you plan to use (country, state, city, radius-based), and I will suggest a segmentation strategy that is realistic and low-risk.

# LLM Traffic Report

LLM Traffic Analytics helps you identify, quantify, and understand website sessions driven by AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity.

When you integrate with GA4, Fibr gives you a clean way to benchmark LLM vs non-LLM traffic, compare engagement quality, and spot opportunities for AEO and content expansion.

***

### Why it matters

AI assistants are quickly becoming discovery channels. That changes the job for marketers and content teams.

You do not just need more traffic. You need to know:

* which AI platforms are sending visitors
* what those visitors do after they land
* whether they engage and convert differently from other channels

LLM Analytics gives you one structured view so you can make decisions with real behavior and conversion data, not assumptions.

***

### Key Capabilities

### Tips from the Fibr team

* Treat LLM traffic as a performance layer. Watch patterns over time before you change budgets.
* Prioritize content clusters with rising LLM referrals. Early wins here compound.
* Compare engagement quality, not just volume. AI visitors often behave differently from paid or organic users.

# LLM Presence Report

LLM Presence shows how often, how prominently, and how positively your brand appears inside answers generated by major AI models like OpenAI GPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Grok.

It turns AI visibility into something you can actually manage, by measuring:

* share of voice
* ranking position
* sentiment
* competitor mentions
* changes over time

So instead of wondering “Are we showing up in AI answers?”, you can see it, track it, and improve it.

***

### Why it matters

AI assistants are shaping discovery and recommendations. That means your brand perception is increasingly being formed before a visitor even reaches your website.

LLM Presence helps marketing, comms, and SEO/AEO teams move from guesswork to clarity by turning abstract mentions into measurable signals.

***

### The five questions it answers

1. **How often are we mentioned?**\
   See your baseline visibility across models and topics.
2. **Are we ranked or recommended ahead of competitors?**\
   Understand whether you are being positioned as the default choice, or an afterthought.
3. **Is the sentiment healthy?**\
   Track whether the tone around your brand is positive, neutral, or negative.
4. **Which topics anchor our visibility?**\
   Identify the themes where you are already strong, so you can protect and expand them.
5. **Are we gaining or losing ground week over week?**\
   Spot early movement before it shows up in pipeline, traffic, or share.

***

### Tips from the Fibr team

* Run presence analysis weekly to catch visibility or reputation shifts early.
* Use Topic Intelligence to prioritize new content in areas where competitors dominate.
* Treat sentiment changes as early signals. Negative sentiment often shows up before ranking drops.

# Fibr Pulse(Insights)

Insights is the analysis and decision layer that brings together GA4 behavior, ads performance, and competitive context, then turns it into prioritized findings, scorecards, and next steps your team can actually act on.

Instead of looking at five dashboards and debating what matters, you get one place to answer:\
What is working, what is slipping, and what should we do next?

#### What powers it

Insights pulls from:

* GA4 engagement and conversion signals
* Google Ads performance
* competitive sources (when enabled)

To keep comparisons consistent, it standardizes quality on a 0–100 score and rolls up trends across cohorts, devices, and geographies. This makes it easy for leaders to compare performance week to week and across channels without reinterpreting metrics every time.

#### What you see in one view

A single view highlights key cards, source matrices, engagement quality tables, time trends, best day and hour windows, cohort gaps, device splits, geo differences, and AI-generated action items.

**Traffic Quality:** Traffic Quality gives you a normalized 0–100 view of source effectiveness, so you can judge performance beyond raw sessions.

You will typically see an overall quality score plus per-source scores used throughout the module, for example Email 82/100, Organic 78/100, Direct 72/100.

**Engagement Quality by Source:** This breaks down how users behave before conversions shift, using signals like:

* average session duration
* pages per session
* bounce
* engaged sessions percent
* scroll depth

This makes it clear when a channel is driving high-intent visits versus low-quality volume.

**Time-Based Trends:** Weekly sessions and users are summarized in clean week-over-week lines for each source, so you can spot acceleration or drag early.

**Peak Performance Windows:** Insights highlights the best day and hour by channel so scheduling becomes straightforward, for example Email Thursday 9:00 AM or Paid Monday 11:00 AM.

**Cohort and device breakdowns:** Insights reveals quality gaps between:

* new vs returning users
* desktop vs mobile vs tablet

This helps you prioritize where to optimize first.

**Geographic variations:** Top countries are listed with their best-performing source, which helps guide localization and regional spend, for example UK led by Organic and US led by Email.

**Campaign behavior analytics from GA4:** Behavioral analytics like bounce, exit, scroll depth, average time, and average time to conversion appear in one consolidated chart per campaign. The view includes:

* metric and duration selectors
* last-synced timestamp
* hover tooltips
* AI summaries under the graph for quick interpretation
* CSV export

If GA or GTM is not linked, the view shows a connect prompt instead of blank data.

***

#### Outputs teams rely on

**Key performance cards:** Sessions, users, overall quality, plus trend deltas for the period.

**Traffic source matrix:** Sessions, users, trend vs last period, and quality score for each channel.

**Engagement quality table:** Session duration, pages per session, bounce, engaged percent, and scroll depth by source.

**AI actionable insights:** Clear callouts on anomalies, opportunities, budget shifts, patterns, and benchmark context, followed by a performance summary and next steps with concrete actions, for example:

* test paid search landing pages
* fix mobile speed
* adjust budget allocation
* schedule content in top performance windows

# Success Metric in Fibr Campaigns

On Fibr, you can define two types of events for every campaign:

* **Primary Metric:** The main conversion event for the campaign. Only one event can be set as the primary metric.
* **Secondary Metrics:** Other success events that are not primary conversions but indicate engagement. All success metrics apart from the primary metric are treated as secondary metrics.

<figure><img src="/files/KAVOxjCg5VvWohcBD4Ez" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

On Fibr, you can track your success metrics in couple of ways:

1. **Using GTM:** You can use your existing GTM tags to define your success metric. Fibr seamlessly connects with your Google Tag Manager workspace (details on the setup can be found here). This integration enables us to replicate and monitor the metrics you've configured with GTM on your page. We advise adopting this approach if you use GTM to track your page's metrics. It guarantees consistency between the data displayed on your native analytics dashboard and the Fibr dashboard, eliminating discrepancies, which is crucial for accurate conversion tracking.

{% endcontent-ref %}

2. **Using Fibr Inline Tracking:** In case you dont have a GTM setup, you can always rely on Fibr Inline Tracking. With Fibr Inline Tracking you can track conversions in 2 ways:
   1. **Click Tracking:** Track user interactions such as:

      * CTA button clicks
      * Link clicks
      * Any clickable element on the page

      Fibr's visual editor enables you to assign click-tracking metrics to any element on your page, facilitating the tracking of additional metrics that may not be monitored via GTM.&#x20;

{% content-ref url="/pages/xbScfcqXQDmzk4JS9aNi" %}
[Integrate Google Tag Manager](/integrations/integrate-google-tag-manager)
{% endcontent-ref %}

Once approved, go to the Google Tag Manager workspace. You will find new tags created with the tag name in the format `fibr_{tag_name}`. Review and make sure that the duplicates for all the tags that you have selected are present, and then publish this new container version.

Once published, you are good to go!

## Tag Duplication and How Does Metric Tracking Work

This step is required for Fibr to track the exact same metrics that you are already tracking with your analytics tool. We do it in a way such that no customer data is received by Fibr, even if you have configured it in your original tag.

In tag duplication, Fibr creates a custom HTML tag on GTM, which informs Fibr's system once a metric is fired. In order to achieve the firing at the same time as your original tag, we create a trigger, which is a combination of your original trigger and a Fibr script load trigger.&#x20;

This compound trigger ensures that every time your original tag is fired, the Fibr tag also fires, thus maintaining data sanity across your analytics and Fibr analytics.

This way of setting up GTM ensures that Fibr does not miss any user activity you are already tracking and that the customer data remains intact within your systems.
