Fibr sends two events, tracked directly through your own Mixpanel instance:

| Event | Fires when |
| ------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `FIBR_SESSION_VIEW` | A visitor views a page that carries a Fibr experience. |
| `FIBR_CONVERSION` | A success metric fires, or a journey, auxiliary, or variable-tracking event fires. |

Each event includes these properties:

| Property | Description |
| -------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| experienceId | ID of the personalization or experiment shown. |
| experienceName | Human-readable campaign name. |
| campaignName | Name of the campaign the experience belongs to. |
| url | Page URL where the event occurred. |
| eventType | Internal event classification. |
| eventName | page\_view for views; the underlying event name otherwise. |
| experienceType | Variant or Control. Control covers both a holdout and a visitor who saw the default Original. |

**No personal or per-visitor data is sent: **Events carry only experience and campaign identifiers and the page URL—no visitor or session IDs, and nothing personally identifiable.

## When events do and don't fire

Events fire when:

- The **Send Events to Mixpanel** toggle is on, and
- Your Mixpanel snippet is loaded on the page, and
- Any required cookie consent has been granted.

A few things to know:

- **Consent:** If you use cookie consent, visitors must grant **Performance-category** consent for events to fire. If you haven't configured consent, events fire normally by default.
- **Preview mode:** Events never fire while previewing an experience, so testing never touches your production Mixpanel data.
- **Failures are silent and safe:** If your Mixpanel instance is missing or a send fails, tracking fails quietly without affecting your other integrations.
