Managing Variations

What are Variations?

Variation is simply a name for the personalized variation of the landing page that you have created in the Fibr Dashboard. You can make changes to the desired landing page and save them as Variations. This page we will talk about:

Creating Variations

Variations are created when you create a new personalized campaign. You can refer to this guide here for a detailed explanation.

Editing on existing variations

One a personalization campaign is made, you might want to edit on the previouslt created version in leau of unfinished changes or newly uncovered information. Fibr allows you to iterate on your variation until you find what works, and then publish it.

Step 1: Select the personalization campaign & variation you want to edit.

You could either want to edit a variation for an exisiting campaign or maybe, edit on an existing variation for the new campaign. For both the cases, first, select the campaign you want to edit the variation for and second, choose the variation you want to edit.

Step 2: Click the 3 dots on the right corner of the card, then click Edit

Step 3 - Create your new revised content for your iteration

Click the element you want to iterate on your page.

Personalize the content you want to use in your new iteration using the options in the right hand panel. Add as many changes as you want to test in your new iteration.

Step 4 - Relaunch with your new edits

Click Finish on the top right corner to save and launch your changes.

Step 4 - Publish the Personalization Campaign for the changes to go live.

That's it! You're done. All campaigns with the edited variation will now show the new, edited version of the landing page variation.

Step 1: Select the personalization campaign & variation you want to share for preview.

Step 2: Click the 3 dots on the right corner of the card, then click Preview

Step 3 - Copy the URL and share it for anyone wishing to preview

That's it! You're done. Note however that the person previewing needs to have the Fibr app to be able to preview.

Managing Audience & Variation mapping

Every personalization campaign has two main parameters - who they want to show (Audience) & what they want to show to them (Variation). Hence, managing of Audieneces & Variants can only be done at a campaign level.

Step 1: Select the personalization campaign you want to edit.

You could either want to edit an exisiting campaign or maybe, edit the existing Audience / Variation for the new campaign. For both the cases, first, select the campaign you want to edit.

Don't forget to Publish the campaign once changes are made for it to go live!
