This guide provides a step-by-step process to create an A/B testing campaign on Fibr. Ensure your website is validated on Fibr before starting. Detailed instructions on website validation and Fibr script addition are available as separate docs.

1. Get Started

  • Ensure you’ve already added and validated the Fibr script on the URL you plan to test.

  • From your Fibr dashboard, go to Experimentation in the left-hand panel.

  • Click A/B Testing and then New Campaign at the top right.

  • Enter your website URL, name your campaign (e.g., “AI A/B Test Guide”), and click Create.

2. Set Up Your Variants

  • After campaign creation, you’ll land on the Campaign Page, where the default variant (your current page) is set to 100% traffic.

  • Click Add a Variant to start creating a new one.

  • Please ensure you have the Fibr Studio Chrome extension installed; only then will you be able to open the Fibr editor

  • You’ll enter the Fibr Editor, where you can:

    • Click on any element (e.g., H1s, buttons, images) to edit it.

    • You're free to edit all aspects of the selected element.

    • Add a new image by selecting an existing one and uploading a replacement.

    • Click the Mobile icon at the top to switch and customize mobile-specific changes.

📝 Note: Mobile edits apply only to mobile. Desktop edits apply to both.

  • Name your variant and click Save once done.

3. Set Up Event Tracking (Optional)

  • After saving, you’ll be prompted to track events.

  • Click Track Event, then select the button or element you want to track.

  • Scroll down to Track Clicks and create a new metric, such as “Fibr CTA Click” to track the conversions of the page.

4. Finalize & Launch

  • Back on the campaign page, you’ll now see your new variant and its traffic allocation.

  • Make sure that all variants combined add up to 100% traffic.

  • Preview both desktop and mobile views.

  • Click Edit to make more changes or the Delete icon to remove a variant.

  • You can also define your audience and confirm your metrics.

5. Schedule or Launch

  • Scroll to the bottom of the page to access Traffic Allocation.

  • Click Schedule to set:

    • Time zone

    • Start and end dates and times

  • Or click Start to launch your campaign immediately.

6. Monitor Performance

  • Go to the Analytics section to view real-time insights on conversion performance, click events, and other tracked metrics.
