Get actionable insights into your website speed and performance with the Web Performance Monitor in Fibr AI.
Video Tutorial
Step 1: Log in to the Fibr AI dashboard. Go to the Web Performance section from the left-hand navigation bar.
Step 2: Select Web Speed Monitor.
Step 3: Click the New Test button in the top right corner.
Step 4: Paste the website URL for testing. Choose between generating a desktop or mobile performance report. Select your preferred device type, then click Generate Now.
Fibr AI will test your website across critical performance parameters and generate improvement suggestions.
Step 5: Review the completed performance report for your URL. Examine the overall performance score and individual core web vitals.
Step 6: Open the Diagnostics tab to explore solutions to detected problems. - Fibr AI may advise, for example, compressing large images. Detailed lists include detected items, sizes, and further context. - Explore the full list of recommendations, especially those flagged as high-impact. - Performance issues are prioritized as high, medium, or low to focus your troubleshooting efforts.
Step 7: Visit the Performance History tab to access past performance reports. Enable ongoing tracking by clicking Activate Monitoring in the top right.
Step 8: Under Monitoring frequency, choose how often Fibr AI should check your site—weekly or daily. - Configure alert thresholds (e.g., a 10% drop in score or core web vitals) for proactive notifications. Adjust this percentage as needed. - Receive alerts via email if notable drops occur.
Step 9: Add teammates as email recipients for these alerts to keep everyone informed. - Scores and alerts will appear as new reports are generated, providing continuous feedback.
Step 10: When needed, share performance reports with teammates who aren't on Fibr AI, ensuring they're aware and can act on the findings.
After completing these steps, you'll be confident using Fibr AI's Web Performance Monitor to maintain and improve your website’s speed and reliability.
